As you may have gathered I use Moodle as my training platform. This tutorial is for my apprentices, but I thought I would post it here as well. You can download the pdf here if you would prefer.
Option One

1. Select ‘Subject Discussions’ from the left hand navigation bar, and again on the next page.

2. Select the subject you would like to discuss

3. The posts closest the left are the original posts, and the ones after that are replies. Each reply moves further right.

To reply to a post select ‘reply’, type in your response, and post.

To edit a post you have to select ‘edit’, then edit your post and enter it again.

Option Two

Select ‘Discuss this subject’ or whatever is similar from the list of contents the page holds. This will allow you to skip steps 1 and 2.
Follow steps 3 onwards from above.
