MetaWeb20 recently twittered a link to a google doc that has 33 tricks to use on an interactive whiteboard in the classroom. It’s a GREAT presentation, and well worth you having a look.
The doc lead me to this site, and I downloaded ArtRage promptly, as I love to paint, and am always look for new tools to use for teaching. I have to say that this is one of the BEST applications I have EVER used. It’s available for windows and mac, and the basic edition is free. I am thinking that I would LOVE to upgrade though, because I am very smitten with it!
This is my first picture, and as you can see, it acts like REAL paint!! The colours mix if you put them on top of each other, the paint runs out, and it even changes if you paint quickly or slowly (hard or soft).
I just can’t believe that such a brilliant program exists! One of the things I love about the program itself is the way the controls are spread out over the edge of the screen, and then move out of the way as you paint near them! They quickly re-appear as you move the mouse/ paint brush away!
Needless to say I am totally wrapped in this, and can’t envisage doing much work for the rest of the day! Enjoy!

Yeah, I downloaded it last year at some point.
It’s fun to use with a tablet too.
Love you! xxx
