I recently (as recent as 1/2 hour ago) upgraded my wordpress install to 2.5. I did it for one reason: so that I could use the new Viddler Plugin, Version 1.1, Beta 1 (and now Beta 2) for Wordpress, and it was worth it.

Since starting this site I have had some trouble embedding anything like videos, slides etc. into my blog. It use to completely warp the entire theme, and align it to the side etc. But not anymore! Since upgrading I am totally on track.

The new viddler plug in boasts a range of feature, but my favourite really has nothing to do with me.

What happens is when I post a viddler video in my blog, and someone views the post, they have two options. They can either write a normal comment, OR they can respond via their own video! There are two ways to do this- either by selecting an already uploaded video, or by creating your own via your webcam right now!

Another cool feature is how it shows you some popular videos in your WP dashboard that you can easily just embed into your blog, right there and then!
