The 2011 U.S. News and World Report survey asked educators to rate the best up-and-coming schools. Is your school on the way to the top?
University officials were asked to participate in a peer-assessment section of the survey, to find the schools that are making progress toward their ultimate goal to be an esteemed institution of higher learning.
Here are the rankings, according to the competition:
- University of Maryland Baltimore County
- Tied: Arizona State University, Drexel University (PA), Northeastern University (MA)
- Tied: George Mason University (VA), Indiana University Purdue University (IN)
- University of Central Florida
- University of Delaware
